THE MOST COMMON QUESTIONS

  • Usually how long does it take to make a ring?
The completion time for each project is different, based on the styles and the amount of customization each maker would like to add. It usually takes 2-3 hours.
  • How much does it cost to make a ring?
The cost of our DIY ring-making classes varies slightly based on the style, ranging from $120 to $150 for rings with a width of 2mm to 5mm. Some special styles that require more materials and time can cost up to $180. Additional customization options, such as different materials or gemstone settings, will incur extra charges. Please consult with us for specific pricing details.
  • What kinds of customization can I add onto my project?
Each maker can add custom stamping (texts or patterns) or textures if their project allows. Because each project is handmade, the result will come out slightly different and unique. We also offer laser engraving or stone setting service upon request.
  • I do not have any experience, what do I need to prepare before coming to the class?
To come to our DIY jewelry making classes, no prior experience is required. We will supply all the material and equipment. But please wear comfortable non-flammable clothes with no loose strings or ribbons and closed-toe shoes due to our safety regulations in the workshop. Girls with long hair must ensure that their hair is tied up.
  • What if I can not finish the project during class time?
Each of our sessions is 3 hours. After the class, we will have a 30 minute grace period for each maker to complete their projects and clean up. If a maker still needs more time, he/she can stay if there is an available bench in the next session. Otherwise, a maker can schedule an open studio time with us to continue working on their projects.
  • Can my boyfriend/friend and I make one ring together?
If the session is not fully booked and we still have a bench available, yes, you can bring a friend and work on one project together. However, both participants are required to sign the safety waiver and follow the guidance.
  • If I can not find a style on the website, can I design my own?
Absolutely! Whether you wish to realize your own idea or to make a custom design order, contact us with your request and our instructor will get back to you and work with you.
  • Other than DIY jewelry making classes, what else does the studio offer?
In addition to the workshop, we offer a curated gallery showcasing the works of local artists. It's an ideal destination to find one-of-a-kind gifts. We also offer other services such as custom design, laser engraving and jewelry cleaning. See more at our services page. We would also cooperate with local artists to host special events of other art disciplines. Please follow us on social media and keep tuned!
  • What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit or debit cards, apple pay and online payment platforms such as Zelle and Venmo and cash. We do not accept personal checks at this time.
  • Do you host group events?
Yes, we do! Depending on the group size and event theme, we can work with you to accommodate. See more at our services page or directly cotant us .
  • Can I make jewelry in other materials, such as gold or platinum?
Currently all of our diy jewelry making classes only offer sterling silver. If you wish to make a project in other materials, please contact us in advance and we will provide you with a price quote and estimated time required.
  • Do you offer classes for kids?
Because the metal working process involves tools and materials with safety hazards, we do not offer classes to makers below 18 years old, unless accompanied by guardians.
